The sibling in spirit to Zopp's Dominion, at least from my point of view: It, too, has been on the wishlist far too long and I'm more than glad that I finally bought this. And also a cornucopia of good things prog, past and present! Strictly musically speaking this is a little harder hitting affair than Dominion, though.

Eagerly awaited release from Greece, this duo once again delivers the goods. Various keyboards, guitars, bass and flute don’t properly tell the tale of what you’ll be served with, with these four tracks. Not an EP, three of the tracks are epic length, The result is in the progressive vein, utilizing lush orchestration in cinematic style, for a satisfying 45+ minute journey. I am choosing The Missing Part to showcase what you’ll hear on this fine release.

Never Going to Touch the Ground b/w Free Ride

This is presented in old-fashioned single format, two cuts, and boy, am I hoping it’s a precursor to a full-length release. Free Ride is a cover of a Nick Drake song, and is a bit more forceful than the original, with some very angular electric guitar. I love Nick Drake, but I have to say that “Never Going To Touch The Ground,” is just sublime. It is so emotive and gorgeous, has a retro feel, and is just beautifully arranged with lush, full orchestration.
